BSEP ISSUER

The Innovator S&P 500 Buffer ETF (BSEP) is managed by Innovator ETFs. BSEP employs a unique strategy by investing at least 80% of its net assets in Flexible Exchange Options (FLEX Options) that reference the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust, known as the Underlying ETF. FLEX Options are customizable exchange-traded option contracts that provide a distinct approach to investing. While these options are guaranteed for settlement by the Options Clearing Corporation (OCC), they do carry some counterparty risk and may be less liquid compared to traditional exchange-traded option contracts. BSEP's primary goal is to provide investors with the potential for returns that mimic the performance of the Underlying ETF, with a predetermined buffer against downside losses, all while capping potential upside returns.

BSEP DIVIDEND

While the primary objective of the Innovator U.S. Equity Buffer ETF - January (BSEP) is to provide investors with downside protection against market declines, it does have a dividend component. BSEP's dividend distribution is contingent on the dividend policies and performances of the underlying U.S. large-cap stocks it tracks. Investors should note that the ETF's primary goal is to offer buffer protection rather than high dividend yields, making it a potential choice for those seeking a balance between growth potential and downside risk mitigation.

BSEP TRACKING

Tracking the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust is at the core of the Innovator S&P 500 Buffer ETF's strategy. BSEP invests at least 80% of its net assets in Flexible Exchange® Options (FLEX Options) that reference the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust, an exchange-traded unit investment trust seeking to mirror the performance of the S&P 500® Index. The ETF aims to provide investors with a return profile that offers potential upside gains up to a predefined cap while protecting against the first 9% of losses in the underlying index. BSEP's innovative use of FLEX Options allows it to offer a unique investment experience based on the performance of the S&P 500® Index within defined outcome periods.

BSEP CORRELATION

The correlation aspect of the Innovator S&P 500 Buffer ETF (BSEP) is essential to comprehend its performance relative to the S&P 500 Index. As BSEP employs FLEX Options referencing the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust as its underlying asset, its correlation with the S&P 500 is expected to be significant. Understanding this correlation is crucial for investors seeking to manage risk and returns. For a comprehensive analysis of BSEP's correlations with other assets and sectors, investors can turn to ETF Insider's web app, which provides deep insights and data visualization tools for all US ETFs, highlighting any overlaps and offering valuable market trend insights.

BSEP SECTOR

The Innovator S&P 500 Buffer ETF (BSEP) primarily focuses on flexible exchange options (FLEX Options) referencing the SPDR® S&P 500® ETF Trust. These FLEX Options are tailored to provide a buffer against potential losses in the S&P 500 Index while capping potential upside gains. The ETF's strategy aims to offer investors a balance between downside protection and participation in the broader market's performance, making it suitable for those seeking a tailored approach to risk management within the S&P 500 sector. However, it's essential for investors to understand the unique mechanics of this strategy, including the cap and buffer, before considering an investment in the fund.

BSEP EXPOSURE

The exposure characteristic of the ProShares 130/30 Large Cap ETF (BSEP) is designed to track the performance of the Index, which represents a quantitatively constructed 130/30 U.S. large-cap equity strategy. This approach results in the Index having a total long exposure of 130% and total short exposure of 30% at each monthly reconstitution date. The Index's constituent selection and weightings are determined based on 50 factors grouped into ten equal-weighted factor composites, covering categories such as Traditional Value, Relative Value, Historical Growth, and more. Investors looking for a systematic approach to potentially achieve incremental risk-adjusted outperformance in the large-cap U.S. equity space can consider BSEP.Discovering the exposure details of BSEP and other US ETFs is made easier with our ETF Insider web app. You can access in-depth and valuable data, along with intuitive visualization tools, to explore market exposure, correlations, and much more, helping you make informed investment decisions.
