EBND ISSUER

The SPDR Bloomberg Barclays Emerging Markets Local Bond ETF (EBND) is managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc. (SSGA FM), serving as the fund's investment adviser. EBND seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg EM Local Currency Government Diversified Index through a sampling strategy. This strategy allows the fund to achieve a portfolio of securities with similar risk and return characteristics to the index without purchasing all of its constituent securities. Under normal market conditions, EBND typically invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities from the index and securities with economic characteristics resembling those in the index.

EBND DIVIDEND

The SPDR Bloomberg Barclays Emerging Markets Local Bond ETF (EBND) offers investors exposure to emerging market bonds, which may not be traditionally associated with dividends. However, EBND does have a dividend distribution component, with payouts generally occurring on a periodic basis, reflecting the interest income earned from its holdings. The eligibility for these dividends is contingent on the interest payments received by the underlying bonds within the ETF's portfolio. Investors seeking a combination of potential capital gains and income from emerging market debt may find EBND to be a suitable option, as it aligns with their investment objectives.

EBND TRACKING

The Invesco Emerging Markets Local Currency Bond ETF, known as EBND, tracks the performance of the Bloomberg EM Local Currency Government Diversified Index. To achieve this, the fund employs a sampling strategy, where it doesn't need to purchase all of the securities in the Index but aims to hold a subset of securities with similar risk and return characteristics. EBND primarily invests in government bonds issued by both investment grade and non-investment grade emerging market countries, denominated in local currencies, with maturities of one year or more. Additionally, the ETF may invest in debt securities not included in the Index, cash equivalents, and employ currency hedging strategies to align its performance with the Index's objective. As of February 28, 2023, the Index was comprised of approximately 622 securities and was calculated by Bloomberg Index Services Limited, which is independent of the ETF and its adviser.
