TIPZ ISSUER

The issuer of the TIPZ fund is Pacific Investment Management Company LLC (PIMCO). PIMCO manages the fund's investments with a focus on tracking the ICE BofA US Inflation-Linked Treasury Index, which primarily comprises Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS). The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by investing in TIPS and other fixed income instruments to closely match the performance of its underlying index.

TIPZ DIVIDEND

The PIMCO Broad U.S. TIPS Index Exchange-Traded Fund (TIPZ) is managed by PIMCO, one of the world's leading fixed-income investment managers. This ETF aims to provide investors with exposure to inflation-protected U.S. Treasury securities, commonly known as TIPS. While the fund primarily focuses on capital appreciation and protection against inflation, it also offers a dividend yield that is adjusted for inflation. The dividends are generally distributed on a monthly basis and are derived from the interest payments of the underlying TIPS in the portfolio.

TIPZ TRACKING

The investment strategy of TIPZ focuses on closely tracking the ICE BofA US Inflation-Linked Treasury Index by investing at least 80% of its assets in the component securities of the index. The fund employs a representative sampling approach, which may result in a slightly different weighting and composition compared to the index, potentially affecting the accuracy of tracking. Despite this, the strategy aims to achieve market-like tracking while managing risks and costs associated with active management.

TIPZ CORRELATION

The investment strategy of TIPZ, as described, primarily involves tracking the ICE BofA US Inflation-Linked Treasury Index (the Underlying Index), which consists of Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS). The fund aims to achieve its objective by investing in a representative sample of Component Securities and other instruments that correlate with the Underlying Index's performance. This approach seeks to maintain a correlation between the fund's returns and the index's returns, though with potential variations due to the representative sampling strategy employed.

TIPZ SECTOR

The TIPZ ETF primarily invests in Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), which are U.S. Government securities issued by the Treasury, linked to inflation. The fund seeks to achieve its investment objective by allocating at least 80% of its assets to TIPS while also considering Fixed Income Instruments and derivative instruments like options and futures contracts. The focus is on maintaining a dollar-weighted average portfolio maturity that corresponds closely to the average maturity of its benchmark index, the ICE BofA US Inflation-Linked Treasury Index.

TIPZ EXPOSURE

The TIPZ Fund aims to achieve its investment objective by investing a minimum of 80% of its assets in the component securities of the ICE BofA US Inflation-Linked Treasury Index (Underlying Index), primarily Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS). The fund may also invest in other fixed income instruments and derivatives, with the goal of closely tracking the average maturity of the Underlying Index, which was 7.76 years as of September 30, 2022. This strategy provides investors exposure to inflation-protected government securities within a representative sampling approach.
