KIE ISSUER

State Street Global Advisors (SSGA)-advised funds, such as the KIE (State Street Global Advisors SPDR S&P Insurance ETF), aim to replicate the performance of the S&P Insurance Select Industry Index. Employing a sampling strategy, the fund may not necessarily acquire all the securities within the index but endeavors to maintain a portfolio with similar risk and return characteristics. SSGA Funds Management, Inc., the adviser to the fund, decides the quantity of holdings based on factors like the fund's asset size. Under normal market conditions, the fund typically invests at least 80% of its total assets in securities from the Index. Apart from Index constituents, the fund may also invest in equity securities not included in the Index, cash equivalents, and money market instruments. The S&P Insurance Select Industry Index, representing the insurance sector of the S&P Total Market Index, consists of sub-industries like Insurance Brokers, Life & Health Insurance, Multi-Line Insurance, Property & Casualty Insurance, and Reinsurance. The Index is part of the S&P Select Industry Indices, each measuring the performance of specific sub-industries based on the Global Industry Classification Standard. The Index is modified equal weighted and rebalances quarterly, with 48 stocks as of July 31, 2023. Sponsored by S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, the Index Provider determines the composition and relative weightings of securities in the Index, unrelated to the Fund or the Adviser.
